Marisol® Flos Salis® is a
superb gourmet finishing salt with a subtler, milder taste, and a very subtle pleasant aroma reminiscent of the sea, compared
to the sharper tasting gourmet fleur de sel sea salt, Flor de Sal.
The finest and most delicate small,
slightly crunchy and snowflake-like crystals of off-white unrefined Flos
Salis® Sea Salt are
traditionally harvested by skimming the surface of
the sea water of the salt marshes. From Rio Formosa
Nature Reserve, Algarve, Portugal.
Certified by "Certiplanet" (European certifier for artisan salt gathering and organic food production) to be 100% natural (no
additives), harvested and processed by organic artisanal methods,
unrefined, and free of pesticides, herbicides and chemicals. Kosher
certified by
Natural Food Certifiers.
Flos Salis® is only available in exclusively designed, re-usable* ceramic crocks to preserve the delicate structure of the
crystals (*the crocks make great little canisters for spices etc in the kitchen or you can refill them with Flor de Sal.).
